Everything Tanja has been asked so far, answered in one place so she can have her Fridays back.
Smart casual, garden-party-proof. The lawn is real grass and it fights back in heels — wedges, flats or decent trainers have historically been the winning move. There's no photogenic gravel this year, unlike 2024, so that's progress. If the forecast turns, the marquee and barn are fully covered.
Every employee may bring one guest — partner, friend, sibling, that neighbour who fixes your bike. Please include them in your RSVP so the caterers count actual humans. If you'd like to bring more than one, email Tanja; we've usually been able to say yes, but it depends on the final headcount.
The buffet (Genusswerk catering) has clearly labelled vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher and gluten-free stations, and the kitchen handles allergies separately. Flag specifics in your RSVP form — the earlier the better. Last year's only dietary complaint was "there was too much good cake", which we've chosen to take as a compliment.
Parking is on the venue forecourt. Driving home: only with 0.0 alcohol — the breathalyser honesty box at the exit is real, and so is the taxi rank alternative (the info desk on the terrace orders taxis for you, takes about 15 minutes to arrive). Full details on the getting there page, including the shuttle times, which is our actual recommendation.
Very much yes. There's a supervised childcare corner from 15:00 to 20:00 run by two professionals from Kunterbunt München, plus a quiet family tent for smaller ones who need a nap mid-party. Add your children (and their ages) to the RSVP — the childcare team plans activities around ages. Under-16s should head home with the 20:00 family shuttle; the karaoke room gets less family-friendly after that.
Dogs on a leash are welcome in the garden and orchard areas, just not in the barn, marquee or anywhere near the buffet (health rules, not us being heartless). Water bowls are set out by the info desk. Last year's attendance: three golden retrievers and one deeply smug dachshund.
Friday, 14 May 2027. We need final headcounts for catering and shuttle sizes by then. Late RSVPs are possible — fill in the form anyway — but you might be eating whatever's left, and that's on you.
A photographer will be present, and pictures go to the internal album and intranet post. If you'd rather not appear, say so in the RSVP comments or grab a "no photo" sticker at the info desk on the day. The photographer is very good about it; the drone incident of 2026 has been fully addressed.
Yes — step-free access to the terrace, marquee and barn via paved paths (see the site plan), and accessible toilets in the barn annexe. If you need a parking spot close to the entrance, mention it in the RSVP comments and we'll reserve one. The orchard fire pits are on grass and slightly rougher going; ask any of the volunteers if you'd like an arm or a better-lit route.
The party happens — we're Bavarians. The marquee seats everyone for dinner, and the barn holds the band, bar and karaoke. Only the relay race gets moved or cancelled; the lawn can take a bit of water but not 200 people sprinting on it. In 2024 it rained for an hour and the party arguably improved. No promises.
There's an unattended cloakroom shelf in the barn annexe for jackets and small bags — fine for cardigans, not fine for laptops or anything you'd be sad to lose. Bring the party minimum.

Then there's a form with your name on it. Deadline: Friday, 14 May 2027.
